Jon Hensley returned to As the World Turns in January 1997 as the troubled but
loving hero Holden Snyder. He created the popular role in October 1985, but left after three years, returning
from 1990 to 1995. In 2001, Jon received his first Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor.
Jon made his television debut playing Brody Price on One Life to Live. He has appeared
on stage in Shakespeare's As You Like It at the Bucks County (Pennsylvania) Theater, and
has studied Shakespeare at the London Academy of Music, Drama and Art. Hensley has also appeared in the USA
Network movie, Wounded Heart, Beverly Hills 90210, and the sitcom Almost Perfect.
Born on August 26, Jon grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where his parents are in the restaurant business. He
studied journalism at New York University. He and his wife, Kelley Menighan Hensley, who
plays Emily Stewart on As the World Turns, were married in May 1996. They have two children,
Sophie May (b. 12/23/98) and Spencer James (b. 1/31/02).
Jon enjoys all sports and is an avid golfer who often tees off with his castmates.
